Join ArtZone Sun Peaks and the Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom for a relaxing paint and sip with delicious wine from Fort Berens Estate Winery, Lillooet BC.

Local artist and instructor Lorel Sternig will lead a fun paint night where participants will come away with an original piece of art and colourful landscape of Sun Peaks. Participants do not need to bring anything, just a sense of humour, love of colour and an attitude of fun!

Artist Lorel Sternig Biography
Best known for her raku pottery and clay sculpture, Lorel has changed direction to painting and mixed media. "Now that I am painting again I find myself rejuvenated, partly due to the variety of colours available in watercolours and acrylics compared to the limited "palette" in pottery.  My aim is to create joyful art with strong composition and an impressionistic, somewhat spontaneous feel. I love the way layers of colour can change the mood of a painting and how a blank canvas can come alive with a feeling of serenity or vibrancy. It always amazes me that my work finds its way all over the world and that people can get such pleasure from something that I have created with my hands".
