Expression of Interest - Sun Peaks Centre Art
The Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality has asked ArtZone to collect and curate works to submit to the Municipality for consideration as art for two rooms in the Sun Peaks Centre. The selected pieces will be purchased by the Municipality.
Council has requested art that is influenced by the area: Sun Peaks and area Heffley to McGillvray Lake. Their preference is photography, but will consider other mediums as long as the Sun Peaks influence is evident.
The first room is currently called Meeting Room C, and is used for the Municipal Council meetings as well as other group and public meetings. The measurements of the room are: 42’x14’

The second room is Meeting Room A/B. This room is used for larger gatherings. The room measures 80'x30'. There are noise buffers hung on the side walls 24” apart. There is room for art to be hung between them but should be portrait orientation and no larger than 22” wide. There are 15 of these spaces.
