Barb Klie graduated from the University of Toronto with degrees in Biology and Physiotherapy. Her artistic journey began when she moved to B.C. and embraced the wonderful hiking and skiing in the province. In Kamloops, she purchased her first camera to record her many adventures. She moved to Jasper in 1982 and joined the Jasper Artist Guild. She was one of the top 5 selling artists out of 50 artists the first year she joined the group with her photography. She is self taught through workshops in painting and photography. Currently she is a member of the Kamloops Artists Group, Federation of Artists, Kamloops Photo Arts Club and is now a member of Art Zone Sun Peaks. 

Barb loves to share her often unique perspective of the beauty of winter through her ice and snow photography.
